Seniors aging in place
Stay in the home you love with sturdy support at the shower, tub, and toilet, and anywhere else balance gets tricky.
Orlando · Longwood · The Villages & beyond
Shower, tub, toilet, and hallway grab bars put in by a licensed, insured local team, so the people you love can live safe and stay strong at home.
Who we help
It starts in the bathroom, where floors get wet and towel bars and sink edges aren't made to hold your weight. A properly anchored grab bar gives a steady hand right where it's needed, there and anywhere else balance gets tricky: entry steps, stairs, hallways, and beside the bed.

$185 covers the installation of one grab bar and all of the mounting hardware, such as anchors and screws. The grab bar itself is not included. You can supply your own bar, or we can supply one for an extra cost.
It depends on how many bars you need and what your walls are made of. We will give you a time estimate along with your quote, so you know what to expect before we arrive.
Yes. We install grab bars into any surface, such as tile, fiberglass and acrylic shower surrounds, drywall, and more. We choose the mounting method for your wall type and use heavy-duty anchors rated for the bar.
The 2010 ADA Standards call for grab bars to be mounted 33 to 36 inches above the finished floor, measured to the top of the gripping surface. Our installation techs know the ADA guidelines for grab bar placement and will help you choose the right spots. Most homes are not required to follow ADA rules, so we can also set the height to fit the person who will use the bar.
Yes. Every install includes a free one-year check-up that we schedule for you. Our installs are built to stay solid. We still come back at one year, free, to check every bar and keep it tight and dry. And if a bar we installed ever loosens because of how we put it in, our lifetime workmanship warranty covers the fix.
Our workmanship is covered for life, for as long as you own your home. If a bar we installed loosens because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it free. The grab bar itself is covered by its manufacturer's warranty. Damage, misuse, and pre-existing wall problems (like rot behind tile) aren't covered.
You can supply your own grab bar, or we can supply one for an extra cost. Just tell us which you prefer when you request your estimate.
We serve Central Florida, including Orlando, Winter Park, Maitland, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Lake Mary, Sanford, Oviedo, Casselberry, Apopka, Winter Springs, Ocoee, Winter Garden, Clermont, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Windermere, Belle Isle, New Smyrna Beach, DeLand, Mount Dora, Zellwood, Chuluota, Wekiwa Springs, Alafaya, Melbourne, and The Villages.
ADA guidelines call for the whole installation (the bar, the anchors and the wall) to hold 250 pounds. Suction-cup bars aren't made to support your weight, so we don't install them.
Original Medicare usually doesn't, because it treats grab bars as self-help devices rather than medical equipment. Some Medicare Advantage plans include an over-the-counter or flex allowance that can be used for grab bars, so it's worth calling your plan to ask.
It may. Florida's Medicaid Long-Term Care program can cover grab bars as a home accessibility adaptation for enrolled members. If you're enrolled, ask your case manager. (We're not a Medicaid provider, so the program handles approval and payment.)
Yes. The VA's Home Improvements and Structural Alterations (HISA) grant can pay for home safety changes like grab bars: up to $6,800 for service-connected conditions or veterans rated 50% or higher, and up to $2,000 for others. The veteran applies through the VA. As a veteran-owned company, we're glad to help you get the details you need for your application.
Sometimes. Area agencies on aging, like the Senior Resource Alliance (serving Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Brevard counties), may have funding for home safety changes. Call them to ask what's available.
Grab bars installed for a medical reason may qualify as a medical expense. We provide an itemized invoice for your paperwork. Your plan may also ask for a letter of medical necessity from your doctor, so check with your plan administrator before you pay.
Often, no. Since January 1, 2022, Florida has exempted grab bars that sell for $100 or less from sales tax when they're bought for home use. The same goes for shower seats priced at $100 or less. Bars that cost more than $100, and bars bought by businesses or assisted living facilities, are still taxed.
Yes. Every job comes with an itemized invoice listing each bar, where it was installed, and the cost, ready for HSA or FSA claims, VA grant paperwork, or Medicaid case managers. We can't promise a plan will approve a claim, but your paperwork will be clear.
